Michael Penix cleared for all football activities

Falcons quarterback Michael Penix has been limited in practice all summer, but that is set to change this week. Penix met with his doctors this week and head coach Kevin Stefanski told reporters after Saturday's preseason game that he received clearance for all football activities. Penix has been practicing throughout training camp after recovering from a torn ACL, but has not taken any snaps in 11-on-11 work while waiting for the green light.
