Wayne Barrow just won a major court battle over control of the Notorious B.I.G.’s catalog, and it’s a massive loss for Faith Evans. According to Bloomberg Law, a Delaware judge ruled that the trust controlled by Barrow, which holds assets from Biggie’s late mother Voletta Wallace, is a legitimate member of the LLC that co-owns the rapper’s music catalog and likeness rights. This means Evans can’t keep Barrow and the Wallace estate locked out of the money flowing from the Primary Wave Music deal.
