DeMar DeRozan plans to sign with Nuggets after Peyton Watson trade

DeMar DeRozan appears to be the Denver Nuggets ' solution to trading Peyton Watson earlier this week. The 17-year veteran plans to sign with the Nuggets after receiving a contract buyout from the Sacramento Kings this offseason, NBA reporter Chris Haynes and ESPN reported on Friday, August 21. DeRozan's intentions to join Nikola Jokic, Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon in Denver became public in the aftermath of the Nuggets' decision to deal Watson to the Cleveland Cavaliers in a multi-team trade on Thursday.
