Christian McCaffrey sore, but OK as 49ers manage his workload

While Christian McCaffrey did not practice on Monday, the team is not concerned about his status heading into the season. Offensive coordinator Klay Kubiak told reporters after the session that the club was "just managing" McCaffrey's workload with the off day. "He’s a little sore, but he’s doing fine, so we’ll just kind of manage him as we go," Kubiak said in his press conference.
