Briton Hennessy in talks for undisputed title fight

Unbeaten bantamweight Francesca Hennessy - daughter of promoter Mick Hennessy - made her pro debut in September 2023 [Getty Images] Francesca Hennessy is in talks to fight undisputed bantamweight world champion Dina Thorslund in the United Kingdom later this year, BBC Sport understands. Promotional outfit Boxxer has offered Danish fighter Thorslund close to £250,000 to face 21-year-old Hennessy in the UK in November or December. Hennessy, the number one ranked challenger with the WBC, would become the youngest undisputed world champion in four-belt history if she defeats Thorslund.
